WHY I BUILT THIS

I'm a rep, not a software company.

I didn't grow up dreaming of cold calling. Years in hospitality — training staff at a resort in California, running client accounts in Munich, a stretch in the German Army — came before new-business prospecting at Amazon, then fully door-to-door for a payments company: no appointment, no warm intro, about as close to a crash course in rejection as sales gets.

Today I'm a full-cycle sales rep at a Fortune 500 company, cold calling small businesses nationwide. I started with the same generic talk track every new rep gets — it didn't sound like me, and prospects could tell. Months of bad calls later, I'd found my own way of opening, handling pushback, and closing. I've since earned multiple Account Executive of the Month awards.

Faden is German for thread — I'm German myself. The name comes from der rote Faden, "the red thread": the line that keeps a story from falling apart. That's what this app is, mid-call — the thread that keeps you on track, whatever the prospect throws at you.
